I've come to believe that this labeling teenagers as having ADD or ADH is just really sugar coating the fact your kid is an asshole that doesn't want to remember shit . I recall being a teenager that wished someone would have diagnosed me with such a condition so that my overly aggressive and authoritative parents would pity me for my " illness" .
I'm so tired of being in the midst of this forgetful genius that lives underneath my roof under immunity from my wrath because his mom thinks I should have empathy.
Is it just me that lives with one of these afflicted know it alls that can't remember shit you tell them but can recall what they want to ?

Whoop that little ni**a's ass when momma ain't home. All body blows and joint locks... Make him scream like a little girl until you have his full attention and then.... AFter he b*tches up and tells his momma... Act like you have no idea what he is talkin' about... And next time she leaves.... Whoop thatr ass again...
He'll get the point sooner or later.... OR he'll cut your throat in your sleep. But either way, you won't have to deal with that ish no more. lol

Nope.. you are not alone... I have one in my house who suffers from selective memory lost.. He only forgets his damn chores!! He forgot to take the trash out to the curb for pick up 3 Sundays in a row... I put the trash in his room...guess what.. he remembers now.. I know that's right!!
